There are many ways of producing green, clean, renewable energy from the environment around us. There are solar cells, wind turbines, wave generators and water turbines. Each of them can provide some, or all of the energy we need.
Unfortunately, most of the methods shown above can't produce sufficient, constant energy when we need it. The energy they produce has to be stored during times of little need, to be used when the demand is higher. Or, the surface area of the collection system has to be too large, as shown in this
video. Even with 15KW turbines storage systems are a plus.
Lithium Iron Phosphate cells are the answer to the storage needs of the renewable home based energy systems.
Selecting your energy harvesting devices is key. Not all forms of green energy are suitable to each and every locale.
LionEV was invited to participate in the re-engineering of a home to run almost entirely on green energy. The first step was to survey the home and see what resources were available.

The home is a beautiful water front property as you can see. The location of the home is ideal for wind, and solar. The solar option would only be supplementary due to the amount of sun and the incident of the angle. But the location lends itself very well to wind generators.

Roof top wind turbines are nothing like you imagined. The newer ones like this one from WindTerra are horizontal turbines. They are omni-directional so they take advantage of any wind. They are also very efficient with having engagement points as low as 6.8 MPH. The model shown above will provide 1.2 KW of energy.
The home location on the water almost ensures a daily breeze above 6.8 MPH so we should be able to harvest and store almost 30KWh of energy per day.
The goal of this particular project is 100% green energy living. Click
