Select your voltage

Any voltage of battery pack may be created by bussing the cells together.  For the best results avoid grouping cells together in blocks and connecting with wire jumpers.  The best results are obtained by using buss bars to tie your cells together in to a pack.  To keep costs under control consider your pack voltage first, common voltage range chargers are much easier on the wallet than custom voltage chargers.

Each individual cell is 3.2VDC nominal, use 3VDC to determine pack size.  So a 12VDC pack would be 4 cells at 3VDC each.

Price per cell including standard buss bar and hardware.

3VDC cell 100Ah  $150.00
3VDC cell 200Ah  $290.00
3VDC cell 400Ah  $570.00

High Current Buss Bar, BEQ and Single Cell

High Current Buss Bar
$12.50 each (includes mounting hardware)

BEQ's

Shunt Style BEQ 2.65-3.65 clamping range
$45.00 Each (includes jumpers and mounting hardware)
(Shunting style BEQ's perform their job by allowing a cell to charge normally until it reaches the desired top voltage.  Once this voltage is attained the BEQ clamps the voltage and absorbs the excess current until the rest of the cells in the pack have reached full charge.  Working in conjuntion with a Zivan NG-3 charger with an LiFePO4 Algorithm, this is an excellent means of maintaining the health of your battery pack.  LiFePO4 cells in a properly designed pack should last a lifetime.)

Top Off BEQ's

Charger Top Off limiter
$22.00 per cell 2.65-3.65 non clamping limiters
(Top off limiters sit off in the bleachers while the master charger brings the cells towards maximum capacity.  When one of the cells (any one) reaches it's cutoff voltage of 2.65VDC the top off limiter signals the charger to throttle back.  The top off limiter then takes control of the charging buss and routes a seperate charge current to each cell.  Cell charge lines will shut off independently when and as each cell reaches its desired top off voltage. Working in conjuntion with a Zivan NG-3 charger with an LiFePO4 Algorithm, this is an excellent means of maintaining the health of your battery pack.  LiFePO4 cells in a properly designed pack should last a lifetime.)

Zivan NG-3 chargers can be ordered & delivered with the LiFePO4 algorithms in place, at no additional cost.
