Net Zero wind Turbine

Wind generated energy is not a new concept, it was employed on sailing vessels throughout recorded history.  In almost all cases, in order to do it effectively you need a pretty good sized surface area to collect that energy.  Sails afforded this area, and opportunity.  Most wind turbines for homes do not present themselves well to neighborhood associations because of the area they require, and the impact they have on the skyline.  If you live in a remote area though, this is not a problem.  As you will see from this video from CNN news, it can be done easily, and cost effectively if you live in a rural environment.

For areas where neighbors are a consideration, we suggest using horizontal turbines, such as the one produced by WindTerra.  It eliminates most of the concerns your neighbors might have.
