This is the second conversion of a Mitsubishi Eclipse that we have seen. This one however has an excellent approach for battery compartmentation. The total pack voltage is 120VDC. Batteries are installed as shown here, with another battery case below the Curtis Controller. The pack is monitored by a PakTrakr. Very efficient use of space!
LiFePO4 cells shown were upgraded to LionEV cells on 11/18/2009 with LionEV BEQ's and high current bus bars. Additional pictures to follow.

This full auto shot details the engine compartment and battery assemble for the Eclipse. Very impressive
the use of engine compartment space.

Cells with BEQ's above the engine in the Eclipse. Note the high current buss bars in place, along with Stake-ons. This is
how all cell arrays should be done for maximum efficiency.

Larger battery array with BEQ's below the engine compartment.

Charge port located under the original gas cap cover.
